MNU to Host Area High Schools for First Annual Crossroads Music Festival

MNU Fine and Performing Arts will host the Crossroads Music Festival Saturday, February 15. This is an annual music festival for high school choir and band students. Dr. John Leavitt, MNU professor of music will serve as director for the festival.

 
More than 200 high school students from six Metro area high schools will participate in the event. The festival features a concert performance by the students for their parents.
 
“This will be a wonderful opportunity for high school students, as well as for MNU music students who will be participating all day in the festival,” said Dr. Leavitt.
 
The event will be held Saturday, February 15, at 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in Bell Cultural Events Center on the MNU Campus in Olathe.
