The Call: Ministry Leadership Institute, June 5-9 or 12-16

Feb. 20, 2017 - by Carol Best

TheCall-headerImagine you’re 17 and you feel a call to ministry. You’ve shared this passion with your pastor and your friends. Will you have to wait until you are in college to really discover what this call is all about? What if you could explore it this summer on MNU’s campus? MNU invites interested teens to The Call, a one-week ministry leadership institute held June 5-9 or 12-16. Pastors, professors and others in ministry will lead high school juniors and seniors in an exciting week meant to help them discover what their call means and equip them for the beginning of their ministries.

The Call features daily individual and corporate worship, theological training, biblical instruction, service learning and fun activities around Kansas City. Participants will enjoy living on campus in residence halls, eating on campus and meeting new people.

Apply Today

The one-week institute is available for the cost of $95 and includes food, lodging, workshops and all materials. Applications are open now for either week at mnuthecall.org. Organizers say the institute may fill quickly so participants are urged to apply early.

The Call is made possible by a $600,000 Lilly Endowment’s High School Youth Theology Institutes initiative, which seeks to encourage young people to explore theological traditions, ask questions about the moral dimensions of contemporary issues and examine how their faith calls them to lives of service. MNU received the grant in December 2015.
