National Appearances for Four Fall Sports

Football

 

Football

Pioneer football finished the season 6-5 and earned two Heart Players of the Week and 12 All-Conference selections. It was the 24th straight season MNU Football finished .500 or better.

 


 

Soccer

 

Men's Soccer

MNU Men's Soccer continued its run of national prominence with a Heart title, eight All-Conference selections, five NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, and a sixth straight appearance at Nationals. Head Coach Kevin Wardlaw was named Heart Coach of the Year and Eduardo Heringer was named NAIA 1st team All-America and NSCAA NAIA Scholar All-America Player of the Year.

Women's Soccer

The Pioneer women's soccer team enjoyed its best season in program history, finishing with 12 wins and its first appearance at Nationals. Six Pioneers were named All-Conference, and Taryn McClendon and Sarah Schmidt were named NAIA Honorable Mention All-America.

Volleyball

MNU Volleyball won its fifth straight Heart championship and earned a sixth straight trip to Nationals. Five Pioneers were named All-Conference, and Gisele Silva (1st team), Rachel Kater (1st team), and Taylor Cowan (HM) were named NAIA All-America.

Cross Country

MNU Women's Cross Country won the Conference Championship and earned a trip to Nationals. Coach Rob Wade was named Heart Coach of the Year, and Halley Dean, Erin Krohn and Kaylee Shanley earned All-Conference honors. The MNU Men's Cross Country squad finished second in the Heart and earned a trip to Nationals. Brandon Velasco and George Robinson were named All-Conference.
