Pastors' Guest Apartment
MNU recognizes how important it is for pastors to find time for renewal in the rhythms of ministry. That's why MNU's Church Relations department offers on-campus resources to pastors, free of cost.
Rest
The Pastor's Guest Apartment is a comfortable modern suite equipped with the following features:
- Queen-sized bed
- Study area with Wi-Fi
- Living area with flat-screen television and cable
- Kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave
- Private bathroom
- Designated parking space
During the academic year, Pioneer Food Services, located in Campus Center, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including a wide selection of salads and entrees.
Recreation
Exercise: Guests pastors have access to MNU's fully-equipped fitness center in Land Gymnasium.
Outdoor Activities: Olathe's beautiful Indian Creek Trail connects on campus and provides the perfect environment for walking, running, and cycling.
Entertainment: The state-of-art Bell Cultural Events Center hosts a wide variety of concerts and productions throughout the year.
Sports: During the academic year the Cook Center and stadiums host the best in Pioneer football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer.
Kansas City Metro: The diverse Kansas City metro area provides countless opportunities for recreation through its thriving music, art, theatre, and sports scenes.
Resource
The Mabee Library has an extensive collection of resources available both on the shelf and online. A private office, access to online journals and periodicals, and a 24-hour computer lab are also available to pastors.
The School of Christian Ministry and Formation invites visiting pastors to visit classes, engage in discussion groups, or connect with an MNU faculty member over a cup of coffee.
Restoration
MNU's chapel services, held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the academic year, provide a context for restoration, while Weatherby Chapel is an intimate venue for prayer and reflection. Counseling sessions are also available to help pastors grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and with others.
