Andrew Secor MA, LCPC, LCMFT, LCAC, BCPC, RPT, Community Counseling Center Coordinator at MidAmerica Nazarene University

Andrew is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor in the State of Kansas.  Andrew is also a Board Certified Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist.

He received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from MidAmerica Nazarene University. In addition, he completed his Master of Arts in Counseling and Certificate in Play Therapy at MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Andrew has experience working in community mental health/private practice and psychiatric treatment (PRTF) with youth and families throughout the state with presenting concerns such as addictions, trauma, attachment and anxiety,   

Andrew currently serves on the Kansas Association for Play Therapy Board of Directors.

As the Clinical Assistant for the Community Counseling and Play Therapy Center, Michelle assists with the day-to-day functions of the Center, including taking client intake calls and scheduling appointments. Areas of interest: I chose the Spiritual Formation track at MNU because my own spirituality has been a pivotal point of growth in my life. In treating the person as a whole, I feel it is beneficial to include spirituality. In my practice my areas of interest are still evolving but I find myself most interested in trauma, abuse, and anxiety.

Areas of interest: I'm interested in working with couples/families struggling with relational issues as well as individuals who are looking to improve their mental health.

Areas of interest: Being a part of the mental health track leads me to have an interest in a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relational issues, etc.

Rebecca Jones
Specialty: Spiritual Formation
Areas of interest: As a counseling student, I chose the spiritual formation track because I believe that one's spirituality can play an integral role in the counseling process. I counsel from an attachment theoretical base, which means I place emphasis on how a client relates to self and others. I am interested in working with both individuals and couples.
