Andrew Secor MA, LCPC, LCMFT, LCAC, BCPC, RPT, Community Counseling Center Coordinator at MidAmerica Nazarene University

Andrew is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor in the State of Kansas.  Andrew is also a Board Certified Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist.

He received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from MidAmerica Nazarene University. In addition, he completed his Master of Arts in Counseling and Certificate in Play Therapy at MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Andrew has experience working in community mental health/private practice and psychiatric treatment (PRTF) with youth and families throughout the state with presenting concerns such as addictions, trauma, attachment and anxiety,   

Andrew currently serves on the Kansas Association for Play Therapy Board of Directors.

As the Clinical Assistant for the Community Counseling and Play Therapy Center, Michelle assists with the day-to-day functions of the Center, including taking client intake calls and scheduling appointments. Areas of interest: As counselor I care about the about the personal healing and growth of the client. Transformation is experienced through the exploration of individual and relational hurts and trauma. This is practiced within the context of a safe environment and an ongoing therapeutic relationship. Areas of focus are spiritual formation, attachment bonds, and mental health.

Areas of interest: I believe healing is a journey and a process. I believe the past holds the answers to what people are experiencing in the present and when a deeper understanding is obtained, than there is more space for growth and change.

Jennifer Dembowski

Area of Interest: My interests include the treatment of a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relational difficulties. I am interested in working with both adults and adolescents.

Area of interest: To serve couples, individuals and families struggling with relational challenges. Counseling from an attachment theoretical base, emphasis is placed on restoring and strengthening the client's ability to relate to themselves and the other in their lives.

Areas of Interest: Being a part of the mental health track leads me to have an interest in a wide variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, and relational issues. My areas of interest include Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive therapy, grief recovery, and disaster related recovery.

Robie Sullivan

Areas of Interest: My passion is to help individuals, couples, and families experience greater joy and fulfillment in relationships. I view client issues in the context of the larger family and cultural systems in which they live and interact. I am especially interested in working with trauma, relational distress and abuse, intimacy, and infidelity. My approach to counseling is holistic, with attention given to each client's emotional, social, spiritual and physical well-being.
