The bossa nova, a style derived from samba, and also influenced by jazz music, translates traditional percussion instrumental rhythms to the drum set. Find out how Dr. Donna Bohn, Chair, Department of Fine and Performing Arts and Associate Professor of Music, will be “syncing the samba.”
