Rebecca Chow, LCPC, LPC. RPT/S, MidAmerica Nazarene University Play Therapy Certificate Program CoordinatorRebeca Chow is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Missouri/Kansas and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, specializing in using play and art therapy techniques in clinical practice with children, adolescents, adults and families. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors from the Universidad Autonoma de Centroamerica in Costa Rica and her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Rebeca has worked in various public service contexts, including Johnson County Community College, Safe Home Domestic Violence Shelter, Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault and Mattie Rhodes Counseling Center providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults, children and families.

Actively involved in the play therapy community, Rebeca serves on the Kansas Board of the Association for Play Therapy, and presented at the 2006 APT national conference in Toronto, Canada, on the use of play therapy with adult sexual abuse survivors.

As the Clinical Assistant for the Community Counseling and Play Therapy Centers, Michelle assists with the day-to-day functions of both Centers, including taking client intake calls and scheduling appointments.
