Ashton Bergh—'13 Nursing
"I have traveled down many paths, one of which led me to MidAmerica Nazarene University. Attending this University has been a very rewarding experience for me. I learned excellent time management and leadership skills. I was able to play a sport I am very passionate about, Women’s MNU soccer. I also obtained my nursing degree. I made many lifelong friends and most importantly, I grew as a Christian.
I was challenged everyday, whether it was on the field or in the classroom, to be a better Christian. My interactions with classmates, professors, teammates and patients have allowed me to develop a closer relationship with God. Soccer at MNU had a huge impact on my life too. This is where I attained the power to never give up. I also now understand that a relentless positive attitude got me positive results. The camaraderie of the team helped me understand the impact of what deep, caring, and loyal relationships have on my life.
I am blessed to have attended MidAmerica Nazarene University. My experiences there have been the most fulfilling and rewarding. Most importantly I was able to be a part of something bigger than myself."
“Thank you for your continued support of MNU Athletics and the student athletes we serve. We are proud to be Pioneers, and to honor the tradition of MNU Athletics well into the future.”
