Providing Ministry Resources to Pastors

Vision: To bring together the varied resources of MidAmerica Nazarene University and the local church community
to specifically address the broad lifelong learning needs of ministers and their congregations so that together we
can nurture the health and wholeness of the North Central Region of the Church of the Nazarene, the greater
community of holiness churches, and ultimately the Church of Jesus Christ, both local and global.

Mission: To nurture partnerships to explore, relate, practice, and reflect for lifelong focused learning
in the ministering community.

About the Sullivan Center

The Sullivan Center is named in honor of the late Dr. Bill M. Sullivan, former director of
USA/Canada Mission/Evangelism, for the International Church of the Nazarene.Dr. Sullivan was a voice
of encouragement to local pastors, and challenged the church to boldly engage in innovative ministry
practices based on rigorous study of cultural trends. Dr. Sullivan founded the Association of Nazarene
Sociologists and Researchers and served as a church planter, a pastor, a district superintendent, author
and consultant over the span of his career in the ministry. Questions about financial support or tributes
to Dr. Sullivan may be directed to Tim Keeton, Associate Vice President for University Advancement,
