As a biology major at MNU, you’ll take challenging courses in genetics, cell biology, ecology, anatomy & physiology, botany and zoology supported by plenty of hands-on experience in the laboratory.
Interested in research publication? You’ll learn what it takes to develop professional publication standards and
what the profession demands in published research. Several current and past biology majors have even submitted original research for publication! You’ll also be exposed to multimedia in your courses and assignments so that you’re prepared to make professional scientific presentations.
"My favorite class so far is most definitely Microbiology. I loved working in the lab, and it was so interesting to see that there is so much more to this world than what meets the eye. You never realize it until you view it from a microscopic angle!"
“We’re learning about God’s natural world. There is nothing in the biology program that doesn’t relate to God. I want to help students see the beauty of nature, get outdoors, observe and contemplate. We get inspired together. ”
