MidAmerica Nazarene University
Nursing is a calling: a calling to promote wellness; to protect health; to prevent illness and injury; to alleviate suffering; to provide compassionate care; and to educate and advocate for individuals, families, and communities locally and around the world.

The Facts

MNU nursing students are highly sought by hospitals and healthcare businesses not only throughout the Kansas City area, but across the nation. Our faculty expertise prepares you to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®). Our graduates regularly exceed the national pass rate for this exam.

The recently opened Virtual Patient Center offers state-of-the-art equipment for you to develop, practice, and hone the clinical, evidence-based critical thinking skills you will need as you begin your career as a registered nurse.

The Bachelor of Science nursing program is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree in nursing at MNU is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.

Application to the nursing program is a separate admission process than applying to MNU.
