Traditional-style, female-only, upperclassmen hall featuring 52 rooms designed for either two or three students. Each room comes equipped with bunk beds, dressers and desks. Rooms are cable and internet ready. Each wing has a communal bathroom and a laundry room, and each hall has a common living area.

Lanpher Hall

Spindle Hall

Suite-style residence halls for upper-class female students. These 6-person suites include a 2-shower large bathroom, kitchen sink, high speed internet and cable. A shared laundry room is available for all residents on the basement level.

Uphaus Hall

Suite-style residence hall for upper-class male students. There are 13 six-person suites and 4 four-person suites with bedrooms, a living area and a bathroom. The suites each include high speed internet and cable.  A shared laundry room is available for all residents.  The basement suites only include a full-size kitchen.

Colony West

Male-only hall featuring apartment-style living for upperclassmen. Colony has 14 apartments designed for 3-4 people. Each apartment has high speed internet and cable, and the basement apartments also have a full-size kitchen. The residence also houses a shared laundry room for all residents.

Draper & Ramsey Halls

Female-only halls featuring townhouse-style living for upper-class women. Two-level townhomes feature 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a galley-style kitchen. Each townhome is equipped with high speed internet and cable. The basement of Draper Hall houses a shared laundry room for the residents of the Draper-Ramsey complex. There are 11 townhomes in the Draper-Ramsey complex. These townhomes typically house 6 students.

Don't Forget!

What to Bring:

These are suggestions for things to bring to make your room a comfortable place to live:

  • For your room: bedding, hangers, power strip, small vacuum, area rug or carpet (no carpet tape allowed), study lamp, plants, TV, trash can, storage boxes, small fan, full length mirror, pillow, closet organizers
  • For your desk: bookends, desk organizer, file box, stationery, stamps, envelopes, note pads, index cards, paper clips, tape, stapler, highlighter, pencils, pens, hole punch, computer, removable computer storage (USB, CD, etc.), folders, bookmarks, calculator, printer, scissors
  • Laundry and cleaning needs: laundry detergent, stain remover, bleach, fabric softener, laundry bag/basket, iron, ironing board, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, sponge, glass cleaner
  • Food and utensils: hot pot, hot air popcorn popper, popcorn, microwave, coffee maker/pots, cups, mugs, eating utensils, can opener, bowls, plates, microwaveable cookware, small refrigerator (less than 4.3 cu. ft.), food storage
  • Everything else: batteries, camera, flashlight, small tool set, alarm clock, umbrella, playing cards, board games, athletic equipment, sunglasses, backpack, overnight bag, shower caddy (with drainage holes), robe, bicycle, shower shoes (flip-flops), bug spray, insurance cards

But Please DON'T Bring:

To maintain a safe environment, we don't permit you to bring:

  • Pets (with the exception of fish)
  • Candles
  • Lofting furniture in a manner for which it was not designed
  • Appliances with open heating coils such as toasters, hot plate, sandwich grills, George Foreman Grill (excluding apartments)
  • Space heaters
  • Ceiling fans
  • Halogen lamps
  • Installation of radio and TV antennas, dish networks, outside antennas or satellite dishes (Don't worry, we have full cable and high-speed internet provided by SureWest
  • Paint for dorm room or apartment
  • Weight lifting equipment (Don't worry, that's what Land Gym is for!)
  • Bows and firearms—including paintball/airsoft guns*
  • Hunting Equipment*
  • Fireworks*

*You may, however, store your hunting firearms and all weapons with the Campus Police office. Weapons by definition includes hunting knives, swords, martial arts equipment, fencing gear, balloon launchers, potato guns, and any item that shoots a projectile that is not named "Nerf".
