While going through difficult times in graduate school, I came upon this verse in a devotional moment and it spoke to me like few other verses had. I took this promise to Isaiah in a personal way, and had it printed and framed. It was always close to my study area, and became a great comfort to me for many years.”
Isaiah 43:2 'When you go through deep waters I will be with you, And when you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown. When you go through the fires of oppression you will not be burned up, the flames will not consume you.'Arvin F. Oke
