Whether you’re in need of courses or book study to renew your state license or certification, or seeking coursework to learn new techniques, MNU’s experts are committed to enriching your learning experience as you adapt to new standards and acquire fresh skills. We offer year-round book studies and collaborate with partners who provide a diverse selection of book studies. Please note that students are responsible for purchasing the required books. You can expect to receive a new course information email within 3-5 business days.

Well-being has many facets that improve students’ academic performance, behavior, social integration, and satisfaction. A sense of well-being also improves teachers’ ability to interact with students, teach concepts, face challenges, and avoid burnout. The purpose of this book study is to identify ways to improve the well-being of students and teachers and identify challenges and obstacles that educators and schools may experience while moving toward well-being.

Online, open enrollment, self-paced, 1-credit hour, $140 for the course and tuition
Readers will learn new strategies and guides to seek “solutions rather than dwelling on problems, to building relationships that allow students to grow, thrive, and—most assuredly—learn at high levels” by Kristin Souers. The book study is self-paced but must be completed within 16 weeks of enrollment.

Online, open enrollment, self-paced, 1-credit hour, $140 for the course and tuition
“Readers will learn how to incorporate students’ input in understanding the factors making it difficult for them to meet expectations and in generating mutually satisfactory solutions. Specific strategies, sample dialogues, and time-tested advice help educators implement these techniques immediately” by Dr. Ross W. Greene. The book study is self-paced but must be completed within 16 weeks of enrollment.
