One hundred and fifty voices strong, Chorus Kansas City is the area’s largest non-auditioned community choir celebrating the joy of singing and the power of connection. CKC brings together adults of all ages who share a love for making beautiful music and building meaningful friendships. Their winter concert will feature Antonio Vivaldi’s “Gloria” accompanied by chamber orchestra and works by contemporary composer Elaine Hagenberg. Kansas City Chambers Singers will present Handel’s “Let thy Hand Be Strenghtened,” “Exultate Justi In Domino” by Lodovico Grossi da Viadana, and two contemporary pieces. Chorus Kansas City is under the direction of Dr. Kevin Coker.
