Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration | January 22, 2019
Join us for the 13th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration: Honoring the Dream
MNU honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during our Gathering Chapel, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., at College Church of the Nazarene at 2020 E. Sheridan in Olathe. The public is invited to join MNU students, faculty, staff and community leaders at this free event.
Each year at this event MNU presents its Martin Luther King Jr. Living Legacy Award. And the Martin Luther King Jr. Leader Scholars will be recognized at the event. MNU established this scholarship program for persons from diverse ethnicities who wish to emulate Dr. King’s passion for learning and servant leadership. MNU Leader Scholars maintain their scholarship award by demonstrating academic and leadership qualities during their university studies.
