This certificate program is designed to meet most of the requirements specified by the Association for Play Therapy (APT) for the Registered Play Therapist credential. MNU is a faith-based institution and the Midwest’s only university based, APT-approved Play Therapy provider whose courses offer master’s-level credit.

MNU takes a hands-on approach to your learning experience. We have a strong clinical orientation with our graduate degrees in various clinical areas of expertise. We will prepare you to be a play therapist in public or private clinical settings.

We have a total of 11 clinical rooms in our building with four play therapy and sand tray rooms.

The result? You receive instruction in the best of contemporary play therapy theory blended with guided experience from true practitioners.
