If you’re hoping to earn your counseling degree, consider the benefits MNU’s Counseling Education program offers. We are the only faith-based private university in Kansas to offer a CACREP-accredited graduate program in counseling. In addition, our program boasts the most significant number of students and full-time faculty of any program in the state. This means each student receives the resources of an extensive program while we also maintain a small personalized 1 to 12 faculty-to-student ratio.

Our program incorporates a high level of scholarship with real-world application, supervised client counseling, and integration of psychology and Christian faith. Our graduates consistently score over a 95% pass rate on the national counselors’ exam, with top scores in the nation each year.

While in the program, you’ll receive guided practice from practicing faculty. We partner with over 45 private practices, churches, and agencies across the metropolitan Kansas City area, including our onsite clinical facility. Many of these partners are so impressed with MNU interns that they will not consider interns from other institutions.

There has never been a greater need for prepared professionals to assist those struggling with emotional and psychological pain. Let us show you how you can begin.
