Olathe, Kan. – MNU is going beyond recycling to help the environment. Starting September 15, the student cafeteria will go tray-less. The move will save water and energy as well as reduce cleaning chemicals released into the local environment. According to Food Service Manager, Donna Brunton, each tray takes up to one-half gallon of heated water to wash. “We are excited to join in a conscious effort to raise awareness of environmental issues in our community,” Brunton says....
