Korean War Vet Achieves Dream George Panebianco and his family celebrated the completion of his bachelor’s degree from MNU in October. The 85-year-old Belton, Missouri, resident, is a Korean War Veteran who majored in Spanish at MNU in the ‘80s. Progress on the university’s Bright Futures Campaign for the Cunningham Student Center is full steam ahead as a crucial deadline is approaching. In January 2019, the Mabee Foundation granted MNU $1 million contingent on the university’s ability to raise the remaining $11 million needed to build the Center by the end of the year....

In its fourth year to participate in Giving Tuesday, alumni and friends raised $110, 260 to support the building campaign for the Cunningham Student Center. In past years, MNU has provided several campus projects for donors to support. This year, however, the focus was solely on raising support for the new Cunningham Student Center, a building that will provide the campus community with a new cafeteria, expanded meeting spaces, and integrated offices for student-focused departments....

She served at St. Anthony’s Hospital after graduation from 1994-1997 and then worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City 1997-2003 and 2009-2012. David is the CEO of Hotel Management and Consulting, where he has served since 2004 after owning a retail establishment. HMC manages 59 hotels across the country....
