300 Leaders Expected for PALCON
| by MNU News firstname.lastname@example.org
MNU is one of three locations for the Church of the Nazarene’s Pastor and Leaders Conference (PALCON) this summer. The gathering for clergy “on the front lines of ministry” is an opportunity for participants to refocus, refresh and retool for their vocation. About 300 pastors and leaders are expected on campus June 20-22 to hear from plenary speakers Dan Boone, Scott Daniels, Alan Hirsch, Carla Sunberg and JK Warrick. Participants will attend workshops and enjoy fellowship activities as well. This year’s conference theme focuses on ministry paradigms in a changing culture.
PALCON is a partnership between the church’s USA/Canada Region and each field in cooperation with its liberal arts institution. The conference is meant to encourage, challenge and equip those who minister. Other locations this year include Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio) and Northwest Nazarene University (Idaho).
