Congratulations to MNU Liberty Site Director, Nicole Hodge. Hodge was honored April 23, 2014 by the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce with the Excellence in Education Award for Higher Learning. The awards banquet is the largest education celebration in the region.  This unique event brings together 1,000 attendees from eight school districts and two counties in Kansas City's Northland to acknowledge the important role that schools play in the economic development and quality of life in the area.

Hodge acts in administrative areas and also teaches for MNU. Whether handing out materials at a safety fair, presenting information at the VFW post, or advertising women’s self-defense training at MNU’s site, Hodge’s goal is to strengthen the community and promote well-being.
