In light of recent events and decisions related to DACA, the University recognizes the complex issues related to immigration regulations and fully supports the statements issued earlier by the Board of General Superintendents of the Church of the Nazarene

MidAmerica Nazarene University is a distinctively Christ-centered community that seeks to transform lives through a shared commitment to intellectual, spiritual and personal development that prepares new generations of leaders who serve God, the church and the world. In light of recent events and decisions related to DACA, the University recognizes the complex issues related to immigration regulations and fully supports the statements issued earlier by the Board of General Superintendents of the Church of the Nazarene which called for Nazarenes “To encourage their respective governments to approve equitable laws that will allow for family reunification, legal work permits for productive immigrants in the workforce, and pathways for undocumented immigrants to be able to obtain authorized immigrant status.”

As a university MNU is committed “To build and nurture a community in which everyone is valued, differences are embraced, brokenness is healed and relationships are strengthened.”
