MNU Seeking Vice President for Academic Affairs

MidAmerica Nazarene University is seeking candidates for Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Vice President for Academic Affairs has the responsibility to lead and promote academic programs that promote the integration of faith, scholarship, and service. This individual is responsible for promoting academic quality by leading the University’s faculty in the hiring and appointment processes, professional development, evaluation practices, curriculum assessment and program development and review. The Vice President answers directly to the President and serves on the University’s executive leadership team.

Candidates must have prior successful experience in higher education, teaching and administration with a reputation for effective leadership and interpersonal competencies. Communication and collaboration skills are essential. Candidates should possess confidence, scholarship, visionary leadership and the creativity necessary to lead MNU in its pursuit of academic excellence though the engagement of faculty, administration and the governing board.
