Mock Trial Team Goes 4-4 in Tournament

MNU Mock Trial Team competed in the Macalester College Invitational Tournament at the beginning of December, going against teams from Drake University, Kenyon College, Cornell College, the University of Minnesota, the University of Iowa, and Iowa State. MNU ended the weekend with a record of 4-4 and were two points away from a 5-3 record. Of the 34 teams that participated in the tournament, MNUI tied with several others for 14th place.
MNU competed in rounds against Macalester College, Hamline University, the University of Minnesota-Morris, and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Team member Crystalyn Oswald was in the running to receive recognition as an Outstanding Attorney, according to her given ranking placement against other recognized participants. In the round against the University of Minnesota-Morris, Crystalyn received the only score of 10 on the ballot for her cross examination of the defendant.
