Music Abounds at MNU this Spring

You are sure to find your style of music at one of MNU's many spring concerts.

Jazz Concert

March 23, 7:30 p.m.

Bell Cultural Events Center

Such Sweet Thunder - music of Ellington, Strayhorn, Adderly, and more, exploring the history and fresh perspectives of our uniquely American music, the MNU Jazz Ensemble will present works in swing, Latin, and gospel styles. Admission free.


Choral Masterworks Concert

March 25, 3:30 p.m. 

Bell Cultural Events Center

Enjoy the MNU Choirs performing classic masterworks by Bach, Mozart, and Thompson. The concert will also feature a guest choir from Summit Christian Academy High School in Lee's Summit, Mo., singing with our students and a full orchestra.

MNU World Music Celebration

March 27, 7:30 p.m.

Bell Cultural Events Center

Everyone is invited to a program featuring the music of Mexico performed by the MNU Marimba and Guitar Ensembles. Guest performers will be Trio Aztlan, the house band for Manny’s Mexican Restaurant in Kansas City. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
