MidAmerica Nazarene University’s FastTrac program received special recognition at the Dec. 17, meeting of the Olathe City Council for efforts to spur the local economy through courses for aspiring and new entrepreneurs. In partnership with Kauffman FastTrac®, the program gives entrepreneurs the foundation and network needed to succeed. Two unique 10-week courses are geared towards aspiring entrepreneurs or those who want to explore the next stage of growth. Classes meet one night a week at MNU.
Dr. Graydon Dawson, chair of Graduate Studies in Management and Mindy Hart, associate program director, presented the council with an overview of the program’s curriculum and goals. They were accompanied by Scott Carson, Kauffman FastTrac vice president of marketing.
In his introductory remarks Mayor Copeland said MNU’s FastTrac is an “exciting program that is equipping new and existing entrepreneurs with the education and tools they need to succeed.”
