Scholarship Challenge Set for Jan. 27-28, 2017

MNU’s second annual Scholarship Challenge is set for Jan. 27-28, 2017. The best and brightest high school seniors can compete at this year’s challenge for the ultimate prize of full tuition at MNU. Students who meet the requirements and attend Scholarship Challenge Weekend will qualify for a $1,000 MNU scholarship just for attending. The top 10 competitors receive a $2,000 MNU scholarship and the top three receive full tuition—worth $26,150.

The competition requires:

  •          Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or someone other than a family member
  •          A resume
  •          An essay
  •          A portfolio detailing projects, service and what makes the applicant special; video and digital images are welcome
  •          Interview with faculty

There’s also plenty of social time and fun at Scholarship Challenge while participants meet students and faculty, tour the campus and learn what it is like to be a Pioneer.

Scholarship Challenge participants typically have at least a 3.75 GPA or a 27 ACT or 1200 SAT score. Applications are due January 12, 2017. All details are at

If you or someone you know qualifies, please check out the Scholarship Challenge at MNU.
