If you’re attending The Church of the Nazarene General Assembly or any of the associated conventions June 21 to June 29, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana, be sure to stop by the MNU exhibits. Celebrating MNU’s 50th anniversary, the MNU exhibit will focus on giving participants a unique chance to “experience” MNU in a variety of ways.

“Experience MNU” features a 360° video that can be viewed on a virtual reality headset as well as two 4K monitors. The video will immerse viewers in locations and events on campus such as Heritage Choir performing in Mabee Performing Arts Hall, students hanging out in the dorm, in class and at several sporting events. The first 500 to participate in the virtual reality experience will receive a free set of earbuds.

Along with other giveaways, you can enter for a chance to win one of the PlayStation PS4 Pro game system with virtual reality. The game system makes a great addition to any youth group or family game room. Youth pastors can enter to win one of three resource crates full of games and resources for their youth. Senior pastors can enter to win one of two $250 Nazarene Publishing House gift cards to be used toward any NPH resources for their church: music, books, videos and more. Winners will be announced June 24. Stop by the Experience MNU exhibit for details.

In addition to the special exhibit, MNU will also be represented in the International Board of Education (IBOE) area along with all Nazarene higher education institutions. Both exhibits will be staffed by MNU admissions representatives, students from MNU’s ServeTeam, Relentless, and MNU alumni. Representatives will have information about MNU’s newest offering, a Worship Arts emphasis for music majors, as well as the Bright Futures capital campaign.

On Sunday, June 25 at 12:30 p.m., MNU will host an Alumni & Friends luncheon in the Westin Indianapolis Grand Ballroom. The cost is $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and includes a sumptuous lunch as well as entertainment from Relentless and the 1994 MNU Collegiate Quartet. Register online here.

“We hope to see many alumni, prospective students and friends at General Assembly and hope they visit our booths to learn more about new initiatives and progress at MNU,” says Derry Ebert, associate vice president and dean for traditional enrollment.
