The Graduate Studies in Management department within the School of Business is looking for qualified individuals to teach Technology for Managers – a 3-credit hour graduate course that is a required course in the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Science in Management (MSM) degree program. Qualified candidates should have a Master's degree in technology or related field (A Ph.D. is preferred). The ideal candidate will not be an IT professional who has taught Management Information Systems. The ideal candidate will be someone who has an operational knowledge from a corporate manager's perspective for how to use technology in their job. 

The Graduate Studies in Management department is looking for qualified individuals to teach Strategic Human Resource Management, a 3-credit hour graduate course.  This course provides an overview of the major functions of human resources, including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, assessing and maximizing the job-person match, managing performance, recruitment, selection and staffing, employee development, compensation, incentives and benefits administration, work design and labor unions. Emphasis will be placed on the transactional and transformational nature of strategic HRM (e.g., legal issues, ethical implications, and practical applications related to organizational strategy and effectiveness).  Qualified candidates Master’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management or Organizational Development/Behavior.  Have a SHRM certification (e.g., SPHR-SCP, SPHR), Have current or recent corporate experience in a leadership role in human resources, prior successful experience teaching graduate courses, and experience with Moodle learning management system.

The Department of Science and Mathematics is looking for qualified individuals to teach as part-time Adjunct Faculty in Biology. Possible courses include:

  • Fall Semester - Human Anatomy (with laboratories), Earth and Space Science, Environmental Biology
  • Spring Semester - Diversity of Life (with laboratories), Principles of Biology, Human Genetics, Environmental Biology
