MNU offers two Associate of Arts degrees in Liberal Arts or General Business. Curriculum includes general education courses in arts and sciences as well as in approved majors. Credits earned in the AA program are applicable to additional study toward the bachelor’s degree.

Program Features

If you’re seeking a shorter alternative and do not want to pursue a four-year baccalaureate degree, our associate’s degree may meet your needs now and if you continue education later. You’ll work with an advisor to choose the correct courses to meet your goal.

  • 63 semester hours
  • Minimum 15 semester hours earned at MNU
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Satisfactory achievement in an approved major
  • Complete general education program
Two Available Majors

Liberal Arts
You will complete all general education courses plus 8-14 elective hours. When you complete 60 hours you can declare the AA in Liberal Arts and complete your final hours for graduation.

General Education coursework and general business courses make up this major. Courses in accounting, finance, economics, business communications, computer applications and marketing give you a great foundation to build on working for all types of organizations.

Wired Wednesday

Developed specifically for Traditional Undergraduate Students, MNU launched a new schedule in 2020. Semester-long courses are now held on Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday for 75 minutes each.

Business Administration continues to be a highly sought out degree by students and employers alike. It provides an excellent and thorough foundation in skills necessary for success in today’s business world. These degrees will also prepare students for graduate study in management, law or other business specialties.
