Types of Financial Aid
We are confident that you will find MidAmerica Nazarene University to be less expensive than comparable independent colleges and universities.
At MNU you will fine a generous scholarship and grants program along with other forms of institutional aid, federal and state aid programs. Explore the options below to find out how you can supplement your college costs.
Federal Financial Aid is funds that come from the United States government. This aid includes grants and loans as well as work study programs. Many of these programs are based on your family income.
State Financial Aid is funds that come from the state of Kansas. This aid includes loans and scholarships for Kansas residents. Many of these programs are based on your family income. Residents of Kansas who attend MNU may be eligible to receive funds from the state.
MidAmerica Nazarene University provides both need-based and merit-based scholarships and grants.
These awards support the enrollment of full-time students in the traditional program who are seeking their first bachelor’s degree. Scholarships and grants using University funds cannot create a cash refund for students.
Many of our academic departments also offer scholarships. Please inquire during you campus visit if these can apply to you.
Other Sources of Aid
There are many other ways to pay for college if federal, state or MNU aid will not cover your costs.
