Honor Band

Guest Clinician Dr. Danh Pham from Washington State University. Dr. Pham is the Director of Bands at Washington State University and a nationally renowned clinician and conductor.

Eligible Attendees

Open to high school band students grades 10th - 12th


The cost is $80 - $40 deposit due with application (will be refunded if not selected). Clinic fee includes: Friday Dinner, Saturday Lunch, and T-Shirt


District or Regional Band Participant: $20 Discount
State Band Participant: $40 Discount 

*All participants who qualify for discounts must notify MNU by January 17 in order to receive their discount. The remaining balance will be due on January 26 at check-in.

Registration Deadline

Applications are due by December 15.


Those who are selected to participate will be notified by email on January 5.


Housing is not automatically included but available upon request (pending availability).

Honor Band Concert Information

The second annual MidAmerica Honor Band will conclude with a free concert featuring the MidAmerica High School Honor Band, conducted by guest clinician, Dr. Danh Pham from Washington State University, alongside MNU’s Concert Band.

When: Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, 6 p.m.
