ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS EDUCATION prepares you to share your love of the English language and literature with diverse students while ensuring they develop literacy skills necessary for all aspects of life.
About the Program
“There’s something different about MNU teachers,” is something we hear a lot about our graduates. We think it’s equal parts preparation and quality students! You’ll learn innovative techniques and the latest technology to prepare you to teach and motivate 21st-century learners.
You will be immersed in courses in creative writing, American literature, British literature, world literature, Shakespeare, and literary criticism.
While you’re here, you can join the Educators Rising program, for great networking opportunities as well as training and preparation for the job search. And based on your academic achievements, you can also participate in our chapters of the Gamma Chi and Pi Lambda Theta honor societies.
