THEATRE is the profession of acting in, producing, directing, or writing plays.

About the Program

At MNU we offer a comprehensive approach to theatrical training that stresses technical practices, performances, theater management, and academic courses to develop you as an artistic member of the performing arts. You'll contribute to all productions, either as actors or as members of the crew.

You’ll have the opportunity to work and learn in the state of the art Bell Cultural Events Center with set construction and studio classes. And MNU is uniquely situated just 20 minutes from Kansas City, a top area for the theater arts with 12 professional companies in the metro.
