New this year, the Pioneer Mug Club recognizes donors who give $25 or more every month to any project across campus. When choosing to support MNU, you won’t just receive an annual coffee mug; you will play an enormous and active role in supporting MNU’s students.
Each year, you will receive a mug designed by an MNU student or alumnus. This year’s mug is designed by junior elementary and music education major Mya Meinke.
We hope that when you use this mug, it will remind you of the vital role you play in the lives of our students. We encourage you to take a moment to pray for these students and for MNU’s leaders as we strive to be a Christlike community committed to academic excellence and a passion for service.

MNU remembers Dr. James H. Diehl, Sr., general superintendent emeritus, who passed away on November 2, 2025. Dr. Diehl served MNU in many ways throughout his career and retirement. Most recently, he served as interim president during MNU’s presidential search from July 1, 2011, to January 31, 2012. MidAmerica Nazarene University extends its gratitude for the life and ministry of Dr. Jim Diehl, whose influence endures in the lives of those he served, taught, and inspired. Gifts in honor of Dr. Jim Diehl may be made to the Diehl Family Scholarship.

President’s Honors is a celebration of God’s faithfulness, donor generosity, and all that makes our mission worthy of unwavering, sacrificial support. Launched in 2012 as MNU’s premier event, President’s Honors has created a generosity movement at MNU, raising nearly $9 million for student scholarships.
Our students are at the very center of the event. Our Heritage Choir, Chamber Orchestra, and Jazz Bands offer live house music and selected performances. Attendees chat with athletes and other student leaders as they usher, serve dinner and assist with the silent auction. The evening culminates with the President’s Scholarship Challenge, which directly impacts MNU’s students.
