School of BusinessPreparing students to lead purposeful lives as they influence commerce here and abroad—that’s the MNU School of Business. In our Christ-centered environment, we teach that business can be a force for good. Graduates accomplish that goal whether leading a nonprofit organization, starting a sustainable company as an entrepreneur, or running a family business that brings jobs to the community. The curriculum is focused on integrating theory and practice. Project-based learning helps students make the most out of lectures and classroom discussions, applying their knowledge to real-world business situations. Students intern at major companies, gaining even more hands-on experience – and an inside look at where their careers might lead. Co-curricular organizations, like Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda (Future Business Leaders of America) and Students in Free Enterprise, offer students more ways to expand their business knowledge and build connections. With so many opportunities, it’s no surprise that our students excel. MNU seniors boast an impressive record on the ETS Major Field Test in Business, making them even more competitive job candidates . And with MNU’s proximity to Kansas City, the job options are plentiful. Major companies such as Sprint Nextel, H&R Block, Aquila, Garmin International, Cerner Corp and Hallmark are all located nearby. The School of Business is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. |
