Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at MNU

Students and community members responded enthusiastically to words from Kansas City Pastor Michael Randle at MNU's 10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration, Jan. 19. Randle's sermon included many references to Jesus' exhortation to love your neighbor.

From race relations to extending mercy to others, Randle's engaging remarks followed two selections by his Dove-award winning wife, Lynda. They were then presented with MNU's Martin Luther King Jr. Living Legacy award.

MNU also honored its MLK Leader Scholars, students whose academic and community life exemplify the values of King.
