COMMUNITY EVENT
Based on the 1984 movie and featuring songs like “Let’s Hear it for the Boy,” “I Need a Hero,” and of course, “Footloose!”
Footloose the Musical follows the story of Ren McCormack, a young man who moves from the big city to small town Bomont where dancing is banned. But as Ren soon discovers, in Ecclesiastes 3 it says, “there is a time for every purpose under heaven… a time to laugh and a time to weep. A time to mourn and a time to dance.” Join us this fall to bring this classic story to life on the First Act stage!
SOCK & DENTAL HYGIENE ITEMS DRIVE: At all Footloose and Finding Nemo Jr. shows, we are collecting adult sized socks and dental hygiene items (disposable toothbrushes, travel sized toothpastes, etc.) for the organization Uplift – a mobile street outreach of ordinary people serving neighbors who are homeless across Kansas City.
RUN TIME: Footloose the Musical has a run time of approximately two and a half hours.
