Champions Challenge 2022 Surpasses Goal
In this season of gratitude, MNU is thankful for all who support scholarships, building campaigns and many other initiatives. Recently, Champion’s Challenge raised $100,229 from 548 donors, surpassing its $75,000 goal. Students from all 12 MNU athletic teams raised support for their programs while competing for matching dollars from the Pioneer Athletic Association (PAA). Three sports broke records raising more than $10,000 each.
Champions Challenge Co-director Colleen Mitchell expressed gratitude for the work of students and generosity of donors.
“I’m excited to see the positive impact this will have on the student experience through equipment upgrades and increased travel opportunities,” Mitchell said. “It’s amazing to see our student-athletes receive such great support from the extended Pioneer family.”
PAA offered $15,000 in matching dollars for teams completing their challenge. All funds go to the greatest need of that team, often equipment or travel costs.
