MWROC Festival – The Mark Wood Experience, Tracy Silverman, and Haydn Vitera
This powerful group stars Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s original string master and powerhouse vocalist Laura Kaye performing exciting and original songs and music by other classic rock legends. Tracy Silverman is one of the world’s foremost electric violin soloists, bringing concert hall legitimacy to this next-generation instrument. Haydn Vitera is one of the amazing Artist Mentors on our Electrify Your Symphony team and we’re thrilled to welcome him back this year!
MWROC Festival – The Chuck and David Show, starring Dr. David Wallace and Dr. Chuck Bontrager
A master teaching artist, David Wallace has performed, consulted, and authored curricula for dozens of performing arts institutions, including Carnegie Hall, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Tanglewood Music Festival. Dr. Chuck Bontrager is the very definition of the 21st-century musician: highly Classically trained, experienced in multiple performance styles, and fluent in several variations of his instrument—viola, violin, baritone viola (chin-cello), mandolin and mandola—and his electric violins.
MWROC Festival – Matt Bell and Greg Byers
Matt has been a Viper player since 1997 and has been exploring ways to use electric violin in rock, pop, hip hop, and R&B ever since. Greg Byers, M.M., uses his talents as a performer, composer, educator, and producer to share the joy of music with a diverse range of audiences.
