THE MARK WOOD EXPERIENCE
Featuring Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s string master and founding member Mark Wood and powerhouse vocalist Laura Kaye, The Mark Wood Experience delivers an electrifying night of original music, powerhouse vocals, and reimagined classic rock favorites. Dubbed “The Les Paul and Jimi Hendrix of the Violin World” by PBS, Mark Wood pioneered the modern electric violin movement and has spent decades pushing the boundaries of what string music can be. As part of the internationally acclaimed Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mark helped shape one of the most recognizable symphonic rock sounds in the world while also building a successful solo career as a recording artist, composer, producer, and inventor. Laura Kaye brings her own unmistakable energy to the stage with a voice that blends rock intensity, soul, and raw emotion, forged through years of performing alongside legendary artists including James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and more. Beyond the stage, Mark and Laura are nationally recognized music education advocates and the founders of Electrify Your Symphony, an immersive rock orchestra program that has inspired students across the country for more than 25 years. Together they also lead the annual Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp and Festival and operate The Mark Wood Music Foundation, their non-profit endeavor supporting music education and underserved arts communities nationwide. Backed by an all-star band featuring Rob Bambach, Paul Ranieri, Matt Vanacoro, and Jason Gianni, The Mark Wood Experience is a high-energy concert event that fuses rock concert intensity with world-class musicianship and an inspiring celebration of music, creativity, and connection.
