Dr. Paul E. Hendrickson, professor emeritus of physics, passed away September 16, 2020, at age 79. He taught at MNU nearly 36 years, from 1974 to 2010, also serving as department chair.

Dr. Hendrickson graduated from Bethany Nazarene College and earned a PhD in physics from University of Oklahoma. He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene and involved with Focus Seminars of Kansas City.

Dr. Hendrickson loved the outdoors and was an active backpacker and cyclist. In his obituary, his family said, “his understated, mischievous sense of humor and joking manner always brough out laughter in others. He was one of the most capable people and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t figure out how to fix or build.”
