All official transcripts need to be sent to the Admissions Office for the college of Professional and Graduate Studies. You may also submit unofficial transcripts to MNU for a preliminary unofficial review to determine whether you have missing prerequisites to complete.
No. The selection committee uses the personal statement in lieu of an interview.
Once your application is complete, it may take a couple of months (depending on where we are in the application cycle) before your application is reviewed by the committee. Once your application is reviewed by the committee, you will be notified by the admissions team via text and email regarding your acceptance status.
At times, students have not been able to start the program at the time when classes start for the cohort of students. You can contact the Admissions Department to request a delayed program start date. The details are outlined in our Admission Deferral Policy. The State of Kansas sets the qualifications for persons to become licensed as registered professional nurses. Completion of the MNU BSN program does not guarantee that a graduate will be eligible for RN licensure. The eligibility for professional nursing practice in Kansas can be found in the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, Section 65-115.

Dr. Hodges began her career in higher education at Azusa Pacific University as a chemistry professor from 2008 to 2014. She then moved to MNU where she taught and in 2018 was appointed Chair of the Department of Natural, Health, and Mathematical Sciences. From 2022-2023, before accepting the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hodges was the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Hodges’ career research has focused on protein folding and protein engineering, and she has mentored over twenty students in these research projects. She has also furthered the MNU first-year experience program and chaired the General Education committee for five years. Dr. Hodges was recognized as the MNU Faculty of the Year in 2021.
