Tutoring & Writing Assistance

Types of Tutoring

Five types of tutoring are available for MNU students through the ASC: designated walk-in tutoring, small group tutoring, tutoring by appointment, and workshops, and online drop-off writing support. The subject, course, and tutors’ availability determine the type of tutoring offered. Because the ASC team realizes the need for support at all times of the day (and night), professional tutoring is available 24/7 via NetTutor (Live tutor subject hours may vary).

The SSP aids students in defining their academic and personal goals, identifying and connecting with relevant campus resources, developing college success skills (time management, organization, note taking, etc.), and securing the accountability that is needed at times to follow through.
