[ Land Gym Photo ] Dedicated in 1969, Land Memorial Gymnasium is named in memory of David Alden Land, a prospective MidAmerica student who was killed in the Vietnam War. For many years, Land Gym served as the home of MNU volleyball and basketball until Cook Center was constructed in 1999. Land Gym is still used for student activities and intramurals, and also serves as home for MNU's Associated Student Government and storage for the Autumn Auction. Land is now outfitted with a new FITNESS CENTER.
