What's Going On with Printing on Campus?

Double-sided printing is the default (if you want to print single-sided, which most faculty require for papers you submit to them, you need to change the setting at the computer). If you print double-sided, that is 4 cents per side. The library has two main printers, and you can pick up your print job from either printer. There is also a color printer (in the computer lab in the library). Color prints are 25 cents each. To print, please follow the instructions by the computers and the printers...and don't hesitate to ask any librarian or student worker for help!

The new print management system was implemented to get a handle on the extraordinary costs associated with printing on campus - and the tremendous amount of wasted printing. Over 200,000 pages were printed in the library last semester alone, and much of that was thrown away in the recycling bins by each printer. This system will allow us to be better stewards of the university's financial resources, and go green by saving paperLet us know if you have any questions...we're here to help!
