Marketing involves all of the ways that companies create valuable relationships with consumers—creating fans, studying sales cycles and developing concepts.
Marketing is for students who want to understand brands and people. In this major you’ll study concepts in product development, advertising, sales and design. You’ll learn how these areas work together in the real world to create strong brands that we recognize today.
As a marketing major, you’ll work on projects for local companies and present plans to real clients. Complete an in-depth marketing research project with a team, and learn what the relationship between designers and marketers is like. You’ll be paired with a design student on more than one project.
