Kinesiology is the science of human movement. Students in the kinesiology program at MNU will learn how human movement impacts sports performance, health, society, and quality of life. Additionally, the kinesiology program focuses on the impact of physical activity, nutrition and lifestyle on health optimization, prevention of injury and illness, and the extension of life.

The kinesiology program at MNU has been designed to meet the career goals and academic needs of each individual student, while providing robust preparation in the field of kinesiology. The flexibility within the degree also allows the kinesiology program to respond to rapidly changing industry needs; better positioning our students to meet their goals.

Students choose a degree in Kinesiology for a variety of reason. Regardless of their end goal, all students value the positive relationship between preventative health behaviors and higher quality longer life. Advance Degree Opportunity
The MNU & Southwest Baptist University Cooperative Program gives eligible MNU students preference points for admission into their Doctorate in Physical Therapy Program (DPT).
The MNU & Cleveland University-Kansas City (CCC) Cooperative Program gives MNU students the opportunity to complete 3 years of coursework at MNU and 3 years of coursework at CCC and earn both an undergraduate degree from MNU and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from CCC. Under this program, students matriculate in 6 years versus the normal duration of 7 years.
